Job summary

As a F&B Breakfast Host at Atria in The Ritz-Carlton Melbourne, you will deliver warm, personalised service for breakfast guests in a luxury dining setting. You greet guests, manage breakfast inclusions, take orders, and assist the service team while upholding the brand’s Gold Standards.

You will collaborate with kitchen, bar, housekeeping, and front-of-house teams, ensuring high presentation standards and a flawless guest experience in Melbourne’s iconic skyline venue.

Qualifications

• Victorian RSA up-to-date required.
• Experience in a similar role.
• Barista skills highly regarded.
• Proficient in English.
• Working rights in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage guests in a friendly, professional manner at Atria the host desk.
• Review in house package reports to identify guests with breakfast inclusion.
• Take and process food and beverage orders, offer recommendations, and address guest inquiries or concerns.
• Assist breakfast service team where required by F&B management.
• Ensure prompt, accurate service with high standards of presentation.
• Monitor inventory, assist with ordering and restocking, and rotate stock to reduce waste and ensure freshness.
• Polish cutlery and other items to maintain cleanliness and quality.
• Collaborate with kitchen, bar, housekeeping, and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Attend staff meetings and training sessions as needed.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations, and report maintenance or safety issues promptly
