Job summary

Supagas in Rockhampton is seeking a driven Business Development Manager to lead bulk LPG sales growth across the Rockhampton region. You will acquire new customers, grow existing accounts and contribute to Supagas' strategic growth through proactive territory management.

You will identify opportunities, maintain accurate CRM records, collaborate with logistics and service teams, and uphold the highest safety standards while delivering exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• Experienced in similar role with strong relationship building and client management skills.
• Autonomous with ability to be accountable and work self-directed.
• Commercial awareness with proven ability to develop and execute territory strategies.
• Confident in cold calling and proactively developing new business opportunities.
• Safety-focused with solid understanding of compliance and procedures.
• Excellent communication to engage customers and stakeholders.
• Robust organisational skills for reporting, documentation and follow-up.
• Able to work independently within a defined territory while contributing to a team.

Responsibilities

• Grow LPG and Industrial Gases sales across all markets in the Rockhampton region.
• Identify and convert new business via lead follow-up and cold calling.
• Manage and service existing customers with strong relationships.
• Respond to new leads promptly and maintain CRM records and forecasting.
• Ensure safety, regulatory and company standards compliance.
• Prepare and maintain contracts, checklists and compliance paperwork.
• Monitor market trends and provide insights to sales strategy.
• Collaborate with internal teams for logistics and service delivery.
