Job summary

Matthew Hoyle Financial Markets is seeking a software engineer to enhance, maintain and support its in‑house electronic trading system in NSW, Australia. You will collaborate with Traders, Quants and Infrastructure teams to deliver low‑latency, scalable solutions on a Linux/GCC platform, contributing to system architecture decisions and delivering high‑quality code.

A Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field is required, with experience in C++, multithreading, IPC and distributed

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent experience in CS/engineering.
• Proven skills in C++ development.
• Experience on Linux/GCC platform.
• Experience with profiling and optimizing algorithms.
• Experience with network programming, multithreaded programming and IPC.
• Experience with distributed architecture systems.
