Job summary

Tribus in Sydney is seeking a C++ Software Engineer to join a global quantitative trading team. You’ll build high-throughput real-time C++ services underpinning the trading platform, work on risk controls, trade lifecycle, and reference data systems, and collaborate with traders and researchers.

This hands-on role requires 3+ years of C++ experience, strong CS fundamentals, and comfort with Linux. Relocation support and visa sponsorship are available where needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial C++ software development.
• Solid CS fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, OS, networking.
• Comfortable in Linux environments.

Responsibilities

• High-throughput, real time C++ services underpinning the trading platform.
• Real time risk controls, trade lifecycle, and reference data systems.
• Distributed systems, automation, and tooling used directly by traders and researchers.
• End-to-end ownership, from requirements and design through to deployment and production support.
• Close collaboration with traders, quantitative researchers, and infrastructure teams.
