Matthew Hoyle Financial Markets seeks a software developer to join its global development team and improve an in-house electronic trading system. You will work closely with Traders, Quants, and infrastructure staff to implement efficient, reliable software in a demanding, low-latency environment.

The role requires a strong C++ track record on Linux with GCC. You will contribute to architecture decisions and help keep the platform scalable and robust, collaborating across functions to deliver

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in CS/CE/SE or equivalent experience.
• Strong programming track record in C++.
• Experience developing on Linux with GCC.
• Familiarity with low-latency, distributed systems is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Enhance, maintain, and support the in-house electronic trading system.
• Collaborate with Traders, Quants, infrastructure personnel and other developers.
• Contribute to architecture decisions focusing on low latency, scalability and reliability.
• Develop C++ software within Linux and GCC environments.
• Profile and optimize algorithms for performance and resource efficiency.
• Apply knowledge of networking, multithreading, IPC, and distributed systems.
