Job summary

CHU Underwriting Agencies is seeking an experienced property claims professional to manage onsite assessments and drive timely settlements. You will collaborate with specialists to determine loss extent, cause, and coverage, while applying your investigative skills to support indemnity decisions.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in property claims handling or loss adjusting, possess AICL/ANZIIF qualifications, and demonstrate strong negotiation and communication abilities.

Qualifications

• The role requires 3+ years of property claims handling or loss adjusting experience.
• Qualifications include AICL Diploma in Loss Adjusting or ANZIIF certificates.
• Strong communication, negotiation and investigative abilities are essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage onsite strata assessments, confirming extent, cause and nature of losses.
• Develop and implement assessing processes to improve customer experience.
• Collate information and evidence to support determinations, indemnity and recovery.
• Formulate scope of works and ensure settlement and file completion per protocols.
• Prepare reporting and maintain records; interpret policies and make recommendations.
