Job summary

CHU Underwriting Agencies Pty Ltd in Melbourne seeks a Senior Loss Adjuster to manage a portfolio of large loss work, collaborating with specialists to drive timely outcomes and settlements. You will contribute to developing the expertise of the broader team and support complex claims with strong investigative abilities.

The role requires substantial property claims experience, including strata, and proficiency in negotiation, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of property claims handling experience (including strata) and/or 5 years in loss adjusting.
• Experience with commercial and catastrophe claims.
• Strong research, investigative, negotiation and persuasive abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including large-group presentations.
• Full driver’s licence and willingness to travel.
• Knowledge of property claims law and jurisdictional issues.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of large loss work and collaborate with specialists to drive timely outcomes and settlements.
• Develop the expertise of the broader team through coaching and mentoring.
