Job summary

CHU Underwriting Agencies in Australia is seeking a Senior Loss Adjuster to manage a portfolio of large loss work, leverage your technical expertise and collaborate with specialists to drive timely settlements. You will mentor the wider team and contribute to our claims excellence in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires extensive property claims experience, including strata, and strong reporting, negotiation, and site inspection capabilities.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of property claims handling experience (including strata) / Loss Adjusting.
Strong knowledge of property construction and large loss exposures.
Excellent reporting and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

Manage a portfolio of large loss work, collaborating with specialists to deliver timely settlements.
Develop knowledge of the broader team.
Handle large personal lines and commercial losses up to $500K.
Inspect properties through thorough site visits.
Scope and estimate large loss exposures.
Prepare clear, concise reports to progress claims.
Coordinate with lead adjusters on ongoing investigations.
Negotiate settlements within authority limits.
Provide coaching to the broader team.
