Job summary

Allianz Australia seeks a Senior Property Assessor to support a hybrid work model across multiple locations. You will drive timely property claim outcomes, liaise with claimants, repairers, and internal/external stakeholders, and assess indemnity, liability, and remediation scope of works.

Ideal candidates have ANZIIF Loss Assessor or Building Trade qualifications, extensive property assessment and customer service experience, and strong technical knowledge of insurance and loss.

Qualifications

• Building Trade Qualifications and/or Loss Assessor qualification through ANZIIF.
• Extensive property assessing and customer service experience.
• Comprehensive technical knowledge of Insurance and loss.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining timely delivery of property claims outcomes meeting customer expectations.
• Liaising with claimants, repairers and stakeholders to drive timely decisions.
• Assessing indemnity, liability, costs and remediation scope of works.
• Assessing remediation and make safe claims and costs.
• Reviewing building and remediation reports including geotechnical and structural reports.
• Identifying defects and non‑compliance repairs using Australian Standards and NCC.
