CHU Underwriting Agencies in Australia seeks a Senior Loss Adjuster to manage a portfolio of large loss work, collaborating with specialists to drive timely settlements. The role will develop team expertise and mentor colleagues within a supportive, high-performing environment.

The position requires substantial experience in property claims handling, negotiation, and reporting, with travel as needed within our Australian locations. CHU values inclusion and flexible work arrangements.

Qualificações

• Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent knowledge in property claims and loss adjusting.
• Experience handling large personal lines and commercial lines losses.
• Strong negotiation, investigative and reporting abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.

Responsabilidades

• Manage a portfolio of large loss work, coordinating with specialists to drive timely outcomes and settlements.
• Develop expertise within the team and provide coaching where needed.
• Lead complex claims with exposure up to $500K across property, strata, and CAT scenarios.
• Prepare clear, thorough, and concise reports to progress claims.
• Coordinate with lead adjusters on files requiring additional investigation.
• Negotiate settlements within guidelines and authority limits.
