Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or transport operations.
• Foundational understanding of cross-border Air and Ocean freight movements; Excel for reporting.
• Strong written and verbal communication; high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end shipment management (Order-to-Arrival) for Air and Ocean B2B import shipments.
• Act as a central coordination point, managing day-to-day communications with external service providers and internal stakeholders.
• Handle operational inquiries, manage escalations, and resolve shipping defects.
• Utilize Intermediate Excel to create, analyze, and distribute operational performance reports.
• Investigate root causes of delays to drive resolution.
• Support Kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives.

Role Purpose

Reporting to the Regional Logistics Lead, the Cross-Border Transport Specialist is responsible for coordinating and supporting the day-to-day movement of Air and Ocean import shipments from international origins into the APAC region.

Key Responsibilities

Support end-to-end shipment management (Order-to-Arrival) for Air and Ocean B2B import shipments. Act as a central coordination point, managing day-to-day communications with external service providers and internal stakeholders.

Handle operational inquiries, manage escalations in a timely manner, and resolve shipping defects. Utilize Intermediate Excel to create, analyze, and distribute operational performance reports and summaries. Investigate root causes of operational delays or issues to drive resolution.

Support Kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.

Skills & Experience Required

1+ years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or transport operations.

Foundational understanding of cross-border Air and Ocean freight movements. Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel for operational reporting and data analysis. Strong problem-solving skills with a proven ability to deep dive into operational root causes.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. High attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
