Job summary

Archer Daniels Midland Company is seeking a Production Supervisor in Fostoria, OH to oversee daily safety, quality, and production procedures while leading hourly staff across the shift.

You will mentor front-line operators, coordinate resources, and enforce GMP and safety standards. The role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities with a commitment to continuous improvement. Training and development are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Previous plant processing experience preferred.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.
• Ability to lead and train colleagues and build teams.
• Ability to analyze information quickly to troubleshoot equipment failures.
• Strong communication, organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Willingness to learn and assume new responsibilities.
• Ability to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily operations by hourly production colleagues ensuring safety, quality and productivity targets.
• Provide resources and training to operate safely and effectively, including PPE usage.
• Assign work to shift personnel to maximize experience and capability.
• Ensure safety compliance with OSHA/Environmental regulations and lead by example.
• Identify hazards, discuss improvements, and conduct GMP/safety inspections.
• Solicit feedback from colleagues and maintain morale on the shift.
