Job summary

CDK Stone is seeking an organized logistics and operations coordinator to keep stock moving across Australia, turning sales requests into efficient freight runs, booking freight and tracking transfers from pickup to arrival.

You’ll solve delays with warehouse, sales and freight teams, maintain stock records, coordinate stocktakes and adjustments, and switch from desk work to operating the overhead crane to present natural stone slabs.

• Reliable commute to the Alexandria selection centre via public transport.

Responsibilities

• Keep stock moving across Australia, coordinating sales requests into practical freight runs.
• Book freight and track transfers from booking to arrival with carriers.
• Resolve delays and last-minute issues with sales, warehouse and freight teams.
• Maintain accurate stock records, coordinate stocktakes and adjustments.
• Build relationships across Australia to align actions and timeframes.
• Operate the overhead crane to move and present Natural Stone slabs in the warehouse.

About the Role

• Keep stock moving across Australia, bringing together sales requests into practical, cost-effective freight runs.
• Book freight and track transfers, coordinating pick-ups and deliveries with carriers from booking through to arrival.
• Keep things moving when plans change, solving delays and last-minute issues with sales, warehouse and freight teams.
• Keep stock records accurate, coordinating stocktakes, resolving discrepancies and managing adjustments and incoming stock.
• Bring people together to get things done, building relationships across Australia and keeping expectations, actions and timeframes clear.
• Switch the desk for the warehouse, operating the overhead crane to move and present Natural Stone slabs and receive incoming stock.

About You
