Job summary

CDK Stone in Australia is seeking a Logistics/Stock Coordinator to keep stock moving across Australia, consolidating sales requests into practical, cost‑effective freight runs and booking transfers from start to finish with carriers.

You will switch the desk for the warehouse, operate the overhead crane to move natural stone slabs, maintain accurate stock records and build strong relationships across branches and sales teams to keep schedules clear and on time.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to operate overhead crane.
• Ability to reliably commute to the Alexandria selection centre via public transport.

Responsibilities

• Keep stock moving across Australia, turning sales requests into freight runs.
• Book freight and track transfers, coordinating pickups and deliveries from booking to arrival.
• Solve delays and last-minute issues with sales, warehouse and freight teams.
• Keep stock records accurate, coordinate stocktakes and adjustments.
• Build relationships across Australia and align expectations and timeframes.
• Switch the desk for the warehouse and operate the overhead crane to move Natural Stone slabs.
