Job description

Operations Coordinator / Branch Administrator

Since 2010, KPI Group has grown from a single vision into one of Australia's most trusted names in traffic management, civil and construction labour hire, and specialist infrastructure support.

Today we're a fast-growing, multistate operation and the partner of choice for many government agencies, tier-one contractors and private clients on some of the country's biggest, most complex infrastructure projects. We're fully accredited across every jurisdiction we work in, the first in Australia to roll out Automated Cone Truck technology, and a certified carbon-neutral business setting the standard for sustainable road safety.

Our Moorebank branch is still in its early days and has just moved into a brand-new office space. We're now looking for an organised, switched-on all-rounder to help keep it running.

This is a small office team, which means you'll have the chance to get in early, help settle the team into the new office and truly make the role your own. No two days are the same, and as the branch grows, so will the team and your opportunities.

You'll get to:
  • Help shape a young, growing branch as it settles into its new office
  • Work in a small, supportive team where your contribution is seen every day
  • Enjoy real variety, from scheduling crews and coordinating fleet to recruitment and client service
  • Build broad experience across operations, people, fleet and administration
  • Grow with a market-leading business that's expanding across Australia
You Will Be Responsible For:
  • Scheduling crews, vehicles and equipment to jobs and managing day-to-day changes.
  • General office coordination and administration, including answering phones, greeting visitors and managing the branch inbox.
  • Ordering PPE, uniforms, signage and stock, and keeping stock levels in check.
  • General fleet coordination, including booking services, maintenance and repairs, and managing registrations, fuel cards, tolls and infringements.
  • Assisting with recruitment and onboarding of traffic and operations employees.
  • Running face to face inductions for new starters.
  • Keeping employee licences, tickets and compliance records current and following up renewals.
  • Updating our customer database with sales, client and job information.
  • Assisting with payroll administration as required (timesheet follow up etc).
  • Responding to employee and client enquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Supporting the sales team with quotes and client paperwork.
  • Helping settle into the new office and building simple, consistent branch processes as we grow.
About You

You're organised, reliable and happiest when you're busy. You enjoy variety, take pride in getting the details right, and can switch between a crew call, a fleet booking and a new starter induction without missing a beat.

We Would Love You To Bring:

Please note: if you have some of the skills and experience but not all, and a desire to learn - we would still love to hear from you as our dedicated and experienced team will train and support you all the way.

  • 2–3+ years' experience in operations coordination, office administration or a similar role.
  • Experience scheduling or rostering people, vehicles or equipment.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word; experience with scheduling systems is a bonus.
  • Excellent organisation, time management and attention to detail.
  • Clear, friendly communication with field crews, clients and suppliers.
  • A hands-on, can-do attitude and a willingness to pitch in wherever needed.
  • A current driver's licence.
  • Experience in traffic management, labour hire, construction, civil, transport or logistics will be highly regarded.
