Carers Queensland Inc. on the Gold Coast is seeking a Local Area Coordinator to bridge participants, the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA), and the local community.
This front-line role supports the LAC PITC program, focusing on building the capacity of people with disabilities, families and carers from a base at our Gold Coast site. The role is full-time until 30 June 2027 with the option for up to two work-from-home days per week after probation, subject to operational need.
The Carers Queensland Gold Coast office is looking for the right person to join our Local Area Coordinator team. If you are passionate, empathetic and compassionate, and can work in a fast-paced, goal oriented and agile setting, we want to hear from you!
In this role you will be the key link between our participants, the National Disability Insurance Agency, and the community you live and work in. Our LACs are our front line serving the community by delivering the NDIS LAC PITC program. This role will have a focus on building and strengthening the capacity of people with disabilities (both NDIS participants and non-participants), their families and their carers.

We are committed to maintaining a diverse workforce that reflects the diverse needs of the people we support. This is not only reflected in our values and day to day operations, but also in our positive rapid growth and hence a new opportunity that we would love to invite you to explore!
