Job summary

Carers Queensland on the Gold Coast is recruiting a Local Area Coordinator to link participants, the NDIA and the community. This full-time role focuses on building capacity for people with disabilities, their families and carers, with flexible work-from-home days up to two per week after probation.

You will implement person-centred plans, engage diverse stakeholders and foster strong relationships within and beyond Carers Queensland, delivering impact for clients and the programme.

• Passion, empathy and compassion for people with disability.

Responsibilities

• Implement processes and plans using a person-centred approach.
• Deliver program-wide strategy to engage people with disability, government, business and community sectors.
• Assist with community capacity building projects to meet community needs with strategic long-term vision.
• Develop strategic, collegial and productive relationships within and external to Carers Queensland to ensure the best outcomes for clients, the program and the organisation.
