Job summary

Mission Australia is seeking a Local Area Coordinator in Midland, WA, on a max-term full-time contract until 30 June 2027. Base salary around $94,472.36 plus super and not-for-profit salary packaging benefits.

You will support people with disability and their families to access supports, build goals, and strengthen independence. You’ll work with communities, manage a caseload, and collaborate with NDIA and service providers, guided by person‑centred practices and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification in Human Services, Social Work, Community Services or equivalent experience.
• Experience in customer‑focused, community services, employment services, housing, health or human services environment.
• Strong administration skills, with experience managing documentation, maintaining accurate records and meeting reporting requirements.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships and navigate complex conversations.
• Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high‑quality outcomes.
• Strong digital literacy, with confidence using client management systems, databases and Microsoft Office applications.
• Current Australian Driver's Licence and the ability to meet NDIS Worker Screening Check and NDIA onboarding requirements.
• Before starting work with us, you will need to undertake a national police history check, qualifications, and referee checks, and have a clearance to work with children/vulnerable people.
