Job summary

IQ Capital Group, a long-established mortgage brokerage, celebrates 20 years in business and seeks a Loans Processor to support our finance team on the Gold Coast. The role offers a competitive salary with commissions on settled loans and standard business hours in a modern office.

Responsibilities include processing loan applications, inputting data in CRM and AOL platforms, and maintaining proactive client communication.

Qualifications

• Experience in the mortgage brokerage industry (not bank).
• Strong knowledge of investment & construction lending.
• Experience with mortgage aggregator platforms (SFG, AFG, Connective).
• Understanding of broker processes, lender requirements & end-to-end lending lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Process loan applications across a diverse panel of lenders
• Accurately input and manage loan data within CRM and AOL platforms
• Maintain regular, professional communication with clients, keeping them informed throughout the loan process
• Liaise with lenders to ensure smooth progression and timely approval of applications
• Work collaboratively with the broader team to deliver outstanding client outcomes

Skills & Experience Required

• Proven experience working within the mortgage brokerage industry (rather than directly within a bank)
• Strong knowledge and practical experience in investment and construction lending
• Experience working with mortgage aggregator platforms such as SFG, AFG, Connective or similar (experience with SFG is preferred but not essential)
• Strong understanding of broker processes, lender requirements and the end-to-end investment lending lifecycle
• Strong understanding ofNCCP legislation, AML compliance, and relevant regulatory requirements
• Minimum2 years’ experience in loan processing
• Excellent relationship-building skills with clients and business partners
• High attention to detail with strong analytical abilities
• Outstanding customer service and communication skills
• Proven ability to manage time, prioritise workload, and meet deadlines
• Proficiency withCRM systemsand Microsoft Office
• Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work autonomously
