Job summary

The University of New South Wales is seeking a Senior Lead Project Manager to lead the LMS Platform stream within the LMS transformation program at UNSW Kensington Campus.

You will set the multi-year platform roadmap, balance delivery, experience, risk and total cost of ownership, and partner with UNSW IT to ensure architecture, security and data integrity.

This role requires senior leadership, governance and strong stakeholder engagement, with a hybrid work arrangement (2-3 days onsite).

Qualifications

• Significant experience in program and project management.
• Experience applying PRINCE2, PMBOK, Agile or other recognized methodologies.
• Experience leading complex technology programs.
• Proven ability to influence executive-level stakeholders and governance forums.
• Experience developing business cases and investment recommendations.
• Capability in resource planning and workforce leadership in complex environments.
• Budgeting and financial delegation experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery and release readiness for the LMS platform and ecosystem.
• Lead alignment and total cost of ownership across the LMS Platform Stream.
• Set platform priorities, dependencies and practical trade-offs.
• Lead governance and decision-making with senior stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain a multi-year LMS platform roadmap.
• Author business cases and investment papers for executive decision-making.
• Lead resource planning and workforce allocation across the Platform Stream.
• Manage strategic vendor relationships and future investment recommendations.
• Monitor outcomes and manage risk, security and data obligations.
• Coordinate with cross-institution programs and governance forums.
• Build trusted senior stakeholder relationships and deputize for the Program Director.
