Job summary

The University of New South Wales in Sydney, NSW, is seeking a Project Manager to lead end-to-end IT and strategic initiatives within the Education Domain. You will translate objectives into practical plans, build cross-functional teams, and establish governance, finance, risk and quality disciplines to keep delivery on scope, budget, and schedule.

Reporting to the Lead Project Manager, you will work across UNSW IT and the broader University, coordinating stakeholders, vendors and delivery teams

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualifications with subsequent relevant experience.
• Proven experience managing end-to-end IT projects or strategic initiatives.
• Understanding of PRINCE2, PMBOK, Agile or other recognised project management methodologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery across the project lifecycle (idea to post-implementation).
• Develop and maintain practical project plans, milestones, and governance.
• Manage project dependencies, risks, issues, change requests and financials.
• Align projects with UNSW governance pathways and reporting.
• Coordinate staff from IT and across the University; engage stakeholders and vendors.
