Job summary

BGIS, Community Housing and Property Services seeks an LMRC Team Leader to coordinate and support the Local Maintenance Repair Crew across South-East Melbourne. You will schedule works, review job orders, and act as the main contact for renters during maintenance projects.

This permanent full-time role requires strong planning and leadership, with occasional site visits across South-East Melbourne. You will use WorkBuddy and MS Office, supervise crews and contribute to renter satisfaction

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating or supporting maintenance, trade or field-based teams
• Experience scheduling and allocating work
• Experience in customer service and stakeholder engagement
• Confidence managing competing priorities
• Strong planning and organisation skills
• Clear communication and calm problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and work management or scheduling systems
• Relevant qualification in Business, Customer Service or Property Services, or equivalent industry experience
• Current Australian Driver's Licence
• Full working rights in Australia
• Experience in community housing, facilities management, maintenance or property services
• Supervisory or team leadership training
• Experience using WorkBuddy or similar workforce management systems

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support LMRC members to complete works safely and on time
• Review job orders and bundle works to help crews complete jobs the first time
• Schedule and allocate work through WorkBuddy
• Be the main point of contact for renters during maintenance and improvement works
• Arrange property access with renters, client representatives and operational teams
• Keep an eye on crew workloads and look for ways to improve efficiency
• Coordinate materials, equipment and stock so crews have what they need
• Respond to renter enquiries and concerns with care and professionalism
• Keep accurate records, communications and work updates in contract systems
• Contribute ideas that improve renter satisfaction and service delivery
