Job summary

BGIS, Community Housing and Property Services – Melbourne VIC is seeking a Works Supervisor to coordinate maintenance, upgrades and project works across South-East Melbourne. The role requires leadership of trades, inspections and strict adherence to safety and quality standards.

You will report to the Operations Manager, work 100% on-site, and travel between properties. A current driver’s licence, White Card and relevant trade qualifications are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising residential maintenance, upgrade or construction works.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors and trade service providers.
• Trade qualification in Building or related discipline.
• Current Australian Driver’s Licence and White Card.
• Certificate IV or Diploma in Building/Construction/Facilities Management.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate maintenance, upgrade and project works across residential properties in South-East Melbourne.
• Support subcontractors and trades to deliver safe, quality outcomes.
• Conduct initial, progress and final inspections.
• Plan and schedule works within agreed timeframes.
• Maintain accurate job and audit records and monitor safety standards.
