Job summary

Life Without Barriers is seeking two Lived Experience Peer Practitioners in Adelaide to deliver recovery-oriented psychosocial support in community settings. The roles are permanent part-time (0.8 FTE) with a focus on helping participants build skills, connections and recovery goals.

You will work in a multidisciplinary team, develop person-led plans, document progress, and support community engagement while meeting program requirements.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Mental Health or Mental Health Peer Work.
• Experience in psychosocial recovery practice or transferable skills.
• Current Driver Licence.
• First Aid and CPR certificate (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Deliver recovery-focused psychosocial support to people with mental health challenges.
• Facilitate one-to-one and group-based recovery activities.
• Develop, implement and review person-led support plans and wellbeing goals.
• Build relationships with participants, families and community stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate case notes, reports and participant records.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team and external networks.
