Job summary

One Door Mental Health in Campbelltown is seeking a Peer Practitioner for a fixed-term, part-time role (30.4 hours per week) across South West Sydney. You will work with an individual to understand their story and support movement towards what is possible through relational care.

The role requires a Certificate IV or higher in Mental Health, Peer Work, AOD or a related field, and offers salary packaging, a Fitness Passport, leave perks and travel where needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum Certificate IV in Mental Health, Peer Work, AOD or related field.
• Intentional Peer Support Core and/or Advanced Training is desirable.
• Has lived experience and ability to share learnings to support others.

Responsibilities

• Create a space of hope and inclusion for people experiencing mental health challenges.
• Support clients through stepped care pathways and transitions.
• Advocate for voices of people with lived experience and diverse backgrounds.
• Contribute to a culturally responsive service environment.
