Job summary

Mind Australia is seeking Lived Experience Led – Peer Practitioners for fixed term, part‑time and casual roles in the Geelong area. Roles operate on a rotating 24/7 roster and rely on the practitioner’s lived experience to support recovery in a peer-led space.

Applicants should have Intentional Peer Support training and ideally a Certificate IV in Mental Health Peer Work, plus readiness to engage in organisational impact through lived expertise.

Qualifications

• Completion of Intentional Peer Support Core and/ or Advanced Training.
• Certificate IV in Mental Health Peer Work is desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate knowledge from lived/living experiences and guide recovery.
• Support peers in recovery-oriented practice from a peer perspective.
• Walk alongside people using the Intentional Peer Support model during their stay.
• Assist with system navigation and linkages to community services.
