Job summary

G’day Group seeks a Front Office Duty Manager to lead a dynamic team at Kings Canyon Resort. This full-time, live-in role involves night shifts initially, transitioning to morning/afternoon shifts, with responsibilities across front desk operations and guest services.

You will train and mentor staff, optimize occupancy and revenue, and coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure memorable guest experiences. A strong hospitality background and RMS experience are essential.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years' experience as a Hotel Supervisor or Duty Manager/Night Auditor
• An understanding or background in Accounts combined with other experience within the hospitality industry is highly advantageous
• Strong computer skills with experience with RMS or similar reservations systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach
• Attention to detail
• A commitment to outstanding customer service
• Exceptional personal presentation standards
• Driver's license and working with children check are essential for this role

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily front desk operations, including check-ins, check-outs, guest services, and reservations.
• Train, mentor, and inspire the team to deliver outstanding customer service.
• Streamline operations by implementing effective policies and procedures.
• Optimize room rates and availability to maximize revenue and occupancy.
• Collaborate with other departments such as housekeeping and maintenance for seamless guest experiences.
• Handle financial transactions, billing, and cash management with precision.
