Job summary

G’day Group's Discovery Kings Canyon in the Red Centre is seeking a Guest Service Agent to join its Kings Canyon Resort team. You will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a memorable stay by delivering warm hospitality and handling inquiries with efficiency.

Responsibilities include assisting with front desk operations, using RMS booking systems where required, and coordinating with other departments.

Qualifications

• Previous hospitality experience preferred.
• Familiarity with RMS or similar booking system is a plus.
• Proficient with MS Office.
• Well-presented, organized and detail-oriented.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Flexible with weekends and public holidays.
• Valid driver’s license essential.

The Role

As a Guest Service Agent at Kings Canyon Resort, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they have a memorable and enjoyable stay. You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, handling guest inquiries, and assisting with various front desk operations.

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in the hospitality industry is preferred
• Familiarity with RMS or a similar Reservation Booking System is an advantage
• Proficient in computer skills, particularly MS Office
• Well-presented, organized, and detail-oriented
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
• Flexible with work hours, including weekends and public holidays
• A valid driver's license is essential

This is a remote role, where you will be living and working at Kings Canyon Resort. As such, please consider the reality of living in a remote location for an extended period of time. This role includes extensive manual handling tasks including lifting up to 20kg kneeling and squatting, as well as handling chemicals and utilising machinery
