Job summary

ACESGroup operates as a leading security provider and is seeking a Control Room Operator to oversee safety, service delivery, and incident outcomes at high-profile events in Sydney and surrounding areas.

You will monitor CCTV, respond to alarms, coordinate with on-ground teams, and ensure compliance with SOPs while supporting emergency responses and maintaining operational readiness across multiple venues.

Qualifications

• Strong situational awareness and decision-making capability.
• Professional communication and escalation judgement.
• Accountability, reliability, and attention to detail.
• Ability to lead through calm, clear coordination during incidents.
• Willingness to work 24/7 rotating rosters, including weekends and nights.
• Current NSW 1A Security Licence, RSA, First Aid/CPR, and NSW Driver Licence.

Responsibilities

• Monitor large-scale event operations using CCTV and integrated security systems.
• Respond swiftly and professionally to alarms, incidents, and critical events.
• Coordinate and communicate with on-ground personnel with clear information flow.
• Control access to restricted areas in line with SOPs and accreditation.
• Log and report incidents with precision and accountability.
• Support emergency responses and assist with coordination and information relay.
• Ensure systems and communications remain operational and event-ready.
