Job summary

Nu-Pure Beverages operates at our Wangara facility and seeks a safety-focused Line Operator to run bottling and packaging lines, monitor quality, and maintain a safe, efficient production floor across rotating day, afternoon, and night shifts.

You will handle machine changeovers, basic fault finding, data recording and stock replenishment while upholding GMP, HACCP and food safety standards in a hands-on role. This is a full-time position with overtime opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Operate bottling and packaging machinery safely and efficiently.
• Conduct machine changeovers and basic fault finding.
• Monitor production lines and respond to equipment issues.
• Maintain output, efficiency and quality standards.
• Conduct quality checks and identify non-conforming products.
• Record production data and downtime information.
• Ensure correct labeling, coding, wrapping and packaging.
• Replenish raw materials and packaging supplies.
• Perform cleaning and minor maintenance tasks.
• Operate forklifts safely when required.
• Assist with stock movements and material handling.
• Follow safety, food safety and quality procedures.
• Report hazards, incidents and quality concerns promptly.

Join Nu-Pure Beverages at our Wangara facility and play a key role in producing high-quality bottled water products enjoyed by customers across Australia.

We are looking for a safety-focused and reliable Line Operator to join our production team in Wangara. This is a hands-on manufacturing role where you will operate and monitor production equipment, maintain product quality standards, and contribute to a safe and efficient workplace.

Shift Pattern

• 76 hours per fortnight
• Monday to Friday roster
• Rotating fortnightly between:
  • Day Shift
  • Afternoon Shift
  • Night Shift
• Overtime opportunities available

About The Role

Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for operating production equipment safely and efficiently while ensuring all products meet quality, food safety and production standards.

Key responsibilities include:

• Operating and monitoring bottling and packaging machinery
• Conducting machine changeovers and basic fault finding
• Monitoring production lines and responding to equipment issues
• Maintaining production output, efficiency and quality standards
• Conducting quality checks and identifying non-conforming products
• Recording production data and downtime information
• Ensuring products are correctly labelled, coded, wrapped and packaged
• Replenishing raw materials and packaging supplies
• Performing cleaning and minor maintenance activities
• Operating forklifts safely when required
• Assisting with stock movements and material handling
• Following all safety, food safety and quality procedures
• Reporting hazards, incidents and quality concerns promptly

Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Experience working in a manufacturing, production or processing environment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and confidence working with machinery
• Good problem-solving and fault-finding skills
• A commitment to workplace safety and quality standards
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• The ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment
• Physical fitness and the ability to perform repetitive manual tasks

Highly regarded:

• Experience operating automated or PLC-controlled equipment
• Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, food or beverage environment
• Knowledge of GMP, HACCP or food safety requirements
