Job summary

Nu-Pure Beverages invites applications for a hands-on Line Operator at our Wangara facility. You will operate and monitor bottling and packaging lines, conduct changeovers, and ensure products meet strict quality and food safety standards.

Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, you’ll contribute to a safe, efficient workplace while maintaining output and quality. Overtime and a rotating day/afternoon/night schedule are available.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing, production or processing environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and confidence with machinery.
• Ability to problem-solve and fault-find.
• Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate bottling and packaging machinery safely and efficiently.
• Conduct machine changeovers and basic fault finding.
• Monitor production lines and respond to equipment issues promptly.
• Maintain production output, efficiency and quality standards.
• Conduct quality checks and identify non-conforming products.
• Record production data and downtime information.
• Ensure products are labeled, coded, wrapped and packaged correctly.
• Replenish raw materials and packaging supplies; assist with stock movements.
• Perform cleaning and minor maintenance activities; operate forklifts safely when required.
• Follow all safety, food safety and quality procedures; report hazards and incidents.

Join Nu-Pure Beverages at our Wangara facility and play a key role in producing high-quality bottled water products enjoyed by customers across Australia.

We are looking for a safety-focused and reliable Line Operator to join our production team in Wangara. This is a hands-on manufacturing role where you will operate and monitor production equipment, maintain product quality standards, and contribute to a safe and efficient workplace.

Shift Pattern

• 76 hours per fortnight
• Monday to Friday roster
• Rotating fortnightly between:
  • Day Shift
  • Afternoon Shift
  • Night Shift
• Overtime opportunities available

About The Role

Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for operating production equipment safely and efficiently while ensuring all products meet quality, food safety and production standards.

Key responsibilities include:

• Operating and monitoring bottling and packaging machinery
• Conducting machine changeovers and basic fault finding
• Monitoring production lines and responding to equipment issues
• Maintaining production output, efficiency and quality standards
• Conducting quality checks and identifying non-conforming products
• Recording production data and downtime information
• Ensuring products are correctly labelled, coded, wrapped and packaged
• Replenishing raw materials and packaging supplies
• Performing cleaning and minor maintenance activities
• Operating forklifts safely when required
• Assisting with stock movements and material handling
• Following all safety, food safety and quality procedures
• Reporting hazards, incidents and quality concerns promptly

Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Experience working in a manufacturing, production or processing environment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and confidence working with machinery
• Good problem-solving and fault-finding skills
• A commitment to workplace safety and quality standards
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• The ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment
• Physical fitness and the ability to perform repetitive manual tasks

Highly regarded:

• Experience operating automated or PLC-controlled equipment
• Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, food or beverage environment
• Knowledge of GMP, HACCP or food safety requirements
