Job summary

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of relevant employment experience in prep and a la carte (Lunch & Dinner)
• Trade qualifications required
• Experience in fast-paced, service- and quality-focused venues
• Good English communication and guest-focused attitude
• Solid food hygiene knowledge
• Ability to work well under pressure with attention to detail
• Happy to work split shifts and be part of a team

Responsibilities

• Ensure food preparation and quality is of the highest standard possible
• Manage stock levels following company procedures and recipe guidelines
• Maintain hygiene to required standards
• Keep kitchen clean and organized during and after service
• Assist head chef with cost control and achieving budgeted targets
• Work unsupervised and harmoniously with the brigade
