Job summary

Salexo Consulting's client, a busy Sydney-based lighting manufacturer, is seeking an After Sales Support Consultant. You will handle technical queries, coordinate warranties, and support installers and end users, working with internal teams to provide practical solutions.

The role combines troubleshooting, customer service and data reporting, with responsibility for accurate records, quotations, and CRM/ERP processing. A proactive, organised problem-solver with strong communication is ideal.

Qualifications

• Experience in after sales support, technical customer service or warranty administration.
• Background in lighting, electrical products or related technical industry is preferred.
• Strong communication skills with installers and customers; detail oriented and organised.

Responsibilities

• Responding to technical, installation and warranty enquiries by phone and email.
• Working with installers and end users to understand issues, troubleshoot product concerns and identify potential faults.
• Coordinating with Sales, Customer Service, Operations and Procurement to resolve customer issues.
• Assessing and processing warranty claims, keeping accurate records and providing timely updates.
• Preparing quotations and processing sales and customer purchase orders in the CRM/ERP system.
• Maintaining clear records of correspondence, technical findings and agreed resolutions.
• Supporting retail partners, designers, architects, specifiers and end users with product information and after sales enquiries.
• Producing reports to help identify recurring product issues, service trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Contributing to team service and productivity targets, with support for other projects as needed.
