Job summary

CMI Hino Adelaide is seeking a Diesel Technician to service and repair Hino trucks across a range of sizes. You will apply mechanical knowledge to diagnose and fix issues, with collaboration across the workshop and with stakeholders.

A self-motivated, team-oriented mindset is essential, and opportunities to upskill (HR/HC license advantageous) are available. Join a well-run workshop at Regency Park, with set hours, safety-forward culture, and potential overtime.

Qualifications

• Mechanical experience with trade certifications (heavy or light vehicles).
• Self-motivation and ability to work autonomously.
• Team-first mindset, punctual and focused.
• Willingness to learn, grow and develop as a technician.
• HR/HC license is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

Your new role

In your new role as Diesel Technician, you’ll be responsible for:

• Working on all sizes of Hino trucks performing service, diagnostics, and repairs
• Applying your mechanical knowledge to solve problems, escalating where necessary
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders to provide updates and information

Most importantly, you’ll be working as part of a small, close-knit workshop team where quality, safety and teamwork matter.
