Job summary

Everyday Independence is seeking experienced Behaviour Support Practitioners to deliver life-changing therapy to NDIS participants in diverse settings—from homes and schools to playgrounds and community centres. You will work within the social model and collaborate with a supportive team.

We offer PD leave and mentoring, formal learning opportunities, and a structured development pathway. Base salary is competitive with added benefits including supervision, vehicle options, mobile and laptop.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work or related field.
• Certification in Positive Behaviour Support or ABA.
• Experience with challenging behaviours in community or residential settings.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Conduct functional behaviour assessments to identify causes of challenging behaviours.
• Develop and implement positive behaviour support plans tailored to individuals’ needs.
• Provide training and support to clients, families and caregivers on implementation.
• Monitor plan effectiveness and adjust as needed.
• Collaborate with psychologists, social workers and occupational therapists for holistic care.
• Maintain accurate records of client progress and incidents.
• Attend team meetings and pursue ongoing professional development.
• Advocate for the rights and needs of individuals within the community.
