Job summary

Everyday Independence is seeking experienced Behaviour Support Practitioners to provide life-changing therapy to NDIS participants. You’ll work across homes, schools, playgrounds, workplaces, and community centres, using positive behaviour support to help participants achieve goals and maximise funding.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification (Bachelor/Master/Graduate Diploma) for Behaviour Support Practitioner.
• Registrations such as AHPRA, SPA, AASW or BSPA are required/preferred.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check are mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Work in diverse settings (homes, schools, playgrounds, workplaces, community centres).
• Use assessment and intervention skills to support participants toward goals and funding benefits.
• Build meaningful relationships with participants, families and supports.
• Develop and implement Behaviour Support Plans with function-based strategies and PBS framework.
• Conduct Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBA).
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to address behavioural challenges.
• Attend weekly team meetings in the hub and engage with mentors.
