Job summary

Data#3’s National Software Advisory team helps government, commercial and not-for-profit customers optimise software licensing and maximise value from spend. You’ll collaborate with experienced consultants to deliver key optimisation engagements and help design and launch new Licensing and SAM services for growth.

You will analyse entitlements, deployments and usage to right-size investments, while building ongoing managed licensing services that provide ongoing visibility and control for

Qualifications

• Experience in software licensing, SAM, procurement, commercial advisory or consulting.
• Knowledge of Microsoft licensing across productivity, server and cloud products, and agreement types (EA, MCA-E, CSP).
• Ability to analyse usage and deployment data and model the financial impact of licensing options.

Join Data#3's National Software Advisory team and help government, commercial and not-for-profit customers make sense of software licensing and get more value from their spend. You'll work alongside experienced consultants, deliver some of our key optimisation services, and help design and launch the new Licensing and SAM services that will drive our next stage of growth.

In this role you will:

• Deliver licensing optimisation engagements across Microsoft and other major vendors. You'll analyse entitlements, deployments and usage data to right size investments and reduce costs.

About You

• Experience in software licensing, SAM, procurement, commercial advisory or consulting
• Knowledge of Microsoft licensing across productivity, server and cloud products, and agreement types (EA, MCA-E, CSP).
• Ability to analyse usage and deployment data and model the financial impact of licensing options.
• Experience working with government customers or enterprise agreements would be an advantage.
• Confident engaging with senior stakeholders and influencing outcomes, with excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Interest in building something new: you enjoy improving how services are designed and delivered, not just delivering them.
• Attention to detail, sound judgement and a collaborative approach.

Highly regarded:

• Knowledge of other leading vendors' licensing (e.g. Adobe, Oracle, VMware/Broadcom, Salesforce) is highly regarded.
• Certifications in ITIL, FinOps, ITAM or similar (e.g. IAITAM CSAM, FinOps Certified Practitioner, Microsoft licensing credentials) are highly desirable.
