TAFE Queensland is seeking an Information Services Officer to support students and staff with library resources and technology. The role involves researching and guiding users, conducting library tours, and assisting with e-resources across Queensland campuses.

Based at Mooloolaba, the permanent full-time position reports to the Senior Librarian, Library Client Services, Operations and Delivery. A Diploma in Library and Information Services is required, with strong IT skills and adaptability to

Qualificações

• Diploma of Library and Information Services or equivalent (or near completion) allowing eligibility for Library Technician membership with ALIA.
• High levels of ability to problem solve information technology issues across multiple devices.

Responsabilidades

• Support students and staff with library resources and technology.
• Provide research and referencing support to students and staff.
• Conduct library tours and orientations for new users.
• Open, close and maintain libraries and manage shelving and stocktaking.
• Assist with e-resources, learning management systems and online platforms.
• Adapt to a range of existing and emerging technology platforms and delivery modes.
• Maintain records and statistics and contribute to reporting.
• Deliver client-focused services across multiple TAFE Queensland campuses.
