Job summary

University of Wollongong seeks a Resource Sharing & Collection Development Officer to support access to library resources. You will handle subject readings, interlibrary loans, document delivery requests and acquisitions workflows, ensuring timely delivery and accurate records.

You will work with internal teams and external partners to maintain high-quality collections and services, with focus on data integrity and stakeholder collaboration. The role is based at the Wollongong Campus.

Qualifications

• Associate diploma in library/information management or equivalent.
• Customer service, administrative or procurement experience.
• Strong attention to data accuracy and quality service delivery.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience with library information management systems or ability to quickly learn new platforms.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Process interlibrary loan, document delivery and reading requests.
• Manage acquisitions, subscriptions, ordering workflows and invoice processing.
• Maintain accurate records across library systems for resource sharing and collection development.
• Monitor service turnaround times and communicate with clients and suppliers.
• Contribute to continuous improvement through workflow enhancements and data analysis.
