Job summary

Sunshine Coast Council on the Sunshine Coast, QLD, is seeking a Team Leader Library Hub to guide a busy library hub, oversee service delivery and drive community-focused programs. You will lead a dedicated team, foster partnerships and shape the future direction of library services across the region.

You will hold a bachelor’s degree in libraries and information studies, bring substantial public library experience, and demonstrate collaborative leadership, strategic thinking and excellent

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in libraries and information studies or equivalent.
Significant experience in public library services or a similar environment.
Proven ability to lead, develop and motivate teams and to drive service improvements.

Responsibilities

Lead the delivery of high-quality library services and ensure exceptional customer experiences.
Manage and develop a capable team through recruitment, coaching, performance management and succession planning.
Collaborate across the library network to drive service improvements, innovation and strategic outcomes.
Build partnerships and use community insights and service data to shape programs and future planning.
