Job summary

Pathfinder Recruitment is seeking a Level 2 Field Engineer for a hybrid role on the Central Coast. You will provide onsite and remote support across the Microsoft stack, including Office 365 and Active Directory, and engage with MSP teams for incident resolution.

The role emphasises strong communication, stakeholder management, and the ability to work autonomously within a fast-paced team environment. The position is based on the Central Coast in Australia.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in technical support and 1+ year at Level 2
• Experience providing onsite and remote support
• Previous MSP experience
• Strong understanding of IT products and services, particularly Microsoft
• Strong systems support experience including Office 365, Active Directory, MS Exchange, Email support and applications support
• Networking experience across switches, routers and firewalls
• Ability to collaborate with team members and work in a fast paced environment
• Experience managing internal and external stakeholders and client relationships
• Excellent communication and customer service skills

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 technical support across the Microsoft stack and related apps
• Support client environments onsite and remotely on the Central Coast
• Work with MSP team to resolve incidents and requests and manage tickets
• Build trust and manage relationships with clients to ensure service quality

Job description

Growing MSP on the Central Coast is looking for a Level 2 Field Engineer to join their team. The role is a hybrid opportunity that will suit an experienced Level 2 Engineer on the Central Coast who has experience supporting clients remotely and onsite.

About you

Ideally you have 3+ years experience in technical support and at least 1 year at Level 2 . You should have a good understanding of IT products and services, particularly the Microsoft stack including Office 365, Active Directory and managing virtual environments. You should also have some networking experience across switches, routers and firewalls. In this role you will be working autonomously as well as part of a team across BAU. Building trust and managing client relationships will be an important part of your success.
