Job summary

The Willoughby Leisure Centre Manager role, based on Sydney’s lower north shore, leads the post-opening transition into full operational delivery and long-term sustainability. Qualifications

• Extensive experience in aquatics, health and fitness centres and community programmes including strategy, policy and programme development.
• Strong track record in managing aquatic operations and asset management.
• Working knowledge of regulatory frameworks, compliance, risk and safety management.
• With strong commercial acumen, you will drive sales, marketing and business development.

Responsibilities

• Lead the successful long-term evolution of the redeveloped Willoughby Leisure Centre, ensuring smooth and sustainable operation.
• Engage and develop positive relationships with stakeholders including staff, patrons, Council and executives to deliver community benefits.
• Translate strategic priorities into clear, deliverable plans and lead initiatives through to completion with governance and project management discipline.
• Inspire a customer service and safety-focused culture while managing an established leadership team.
