Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a friendly Leisure Centre Attendant to support daily operations at the local leisure facility in Queenstown. You will welcome visitors, provide information, handle bookings, and assist with basic maintenance and cleaning to keep the centre tidy.

The role offers daytime and early evening shifts, a friendly team environment, and training on facility operations and customer service. Previous experience in customer service is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or a public-facing role is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic knowledge of facility maintenance and cleaning procedures.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist visitors, providing information about facility services, hours, and activities.
• Monitor facility usage, ensuring adherence to rules and regulations for safety and comfort.
• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance to keep the centre tidy and presentable.
• Operate the reception desk, including managing bookings, processing payments, and answering phone inquiries.
• Respond to customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Assist with setup and breakdown of equipment for events or programs as needed.
