Calvary Mirridong in Bendigo VIC is seeking a passionate Leisure & Activities Officer to join on a permanent part-time basis. The role centers on coordinating and delivering engaging leisure and lifestyle programs to enhance residents' quality of life.

Qualifications include a Certificate IV Leisure & Lifestyle and First Aid, with strong interpersonal skills and experience in planning and evaluating activities for frail individuals.

Qualificações

• Certificate IV Leisure & Lifestyle or other relevant qualification.
• Current First Aid Certificate.
• Effective interpersonal communication; both written and verbal
• Experience in the planning, implementation and evaluation of activities and programmes for frail people with cognitive impairment and other disabilities.
• Ability to document assessments, care plans and progress notes to meet legislative, funding and quality improvement requirements.
• Ability to work and communicate with people of all ages and cognitive ability and to obtain their trust and co-operation.
• A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission-based organisation.

About The Role

We are currently seeking a passionate and motivated Leisure and Activities Officer to join our team on a permanent part-time basis at Calvary Mirridong in Bendigo VIC. In this rewarding role, you will play a key part in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by coordinating and delivering engaging leisure and lifestyle programs. If you have a caring nature, excellent interpersonal skills, and a flair for creativity, we’d love to hear from you.
