FutureYou is seeking a Legal Counsel to join a growing team advising on major infrastructure projects across transport, renewables and resources. You will report to the Legal Director and help negotiate contracts and draft precedent commercial agreements for the infrastructure market.

The role requires a proactive, commercial lawyer with strong expertise in construction law and the ability to manage multiple deadlines while liaising with international clients.

Qualifications

• 4+ years PQE from a renowned private practice or in‑house organisation.
• Experience advising on complex transactions with exposure to project delivery issues.
• In‑depth understanding of construction law and contracts.
• Experience with commercial policies and identifying key risks within contracts.

Key Requirements

• Ideally a minimum of 4 years PQE gained either from a renowned private practice or In-house organisation
• Experience in advising on complex transactions, with exposure to project delivery issues
• In-depth understanding of construction law and contracts
• Experience with commercial policies and identifying key risks within contracts
• Proven ability to manage competing deadlines
• A pro-active and commercial approach to projects and work loads.
