Atherton Davis, a global leader in infrastructure and mobility solutions, seeks a Legal Counsel to join its in-house team in Sydney. The role concentrates on construction and commercial contracts, providing practical legal support across the business and overseeing contract processes.

You will draft, review and negotiate agreements, advise on contractual risk and strategy, support governance and compliance, and coordinate with internal stakeholders and external advisors to enable safe project

Formación

• 3+ years PQE in construction law
• Experience in contract administration in construction/infrastructure sector
• Front-end preferred but backend/litigation or contract administration considered

The Role

Working within a small, collaborative legal team, this position has a strong focus on construction and commercial contracts. You’ll provide legal support across a wide range of business activities and play a key role in contract management and negotiation.

Key Responsibilities

• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating construction and commercial contracts
• Advising the business on contractual risk and strategy
• Supporting governance and compliance matters
• Engaging with internal stakeholders and external advisors

Candidates at least 3 years PQE level with construction law backgrounds ideally front end however will consider backend/litigation or those with contract administration experience gained in a construction or infrastructure-related environment.
