Job summary

Core Talent in Sydney, NSW, is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to join our client’s organisation within the infrastructure, engineering and construction sector. The role offers a permanent, full-time opportunity with a salary of AUD 250k–270k plus super and a performance bonus.

You will provide practical legal advice, support commercial decision-making and help manage legal and contractual risks across a range of projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction, infrastructure, engineering or commercial law.
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills.
• Ability to provide practical legal solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Minimum 9 years’ experience post PQE.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts.
• Provide legal advice on contractual matters, project delivery and procurement.
• Identify and manage legal and commercial risks.
• Advise on contract interpretation, variations and disputes.
• Support internal teams with contract management and negotiations.
• Liaise with external legal advisors and key stakeholders.

An opportunity is available for a Senior Legal Counsel to join a leading organisation within the infrastructure, engineering and construction sector.

Working closely with internal stakeholders, you will provide practical legal advice, support commercial decision-making and help manage legal and contractual risks across a range of projects and business operations.
