Job summary

Enemix seeks a Legal Counsel to join its renewable energy team in Sydney. You will work across the full lifecycle of projects—from development through financing, construction and operations—within a growing in-house team.

You will draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements, advise on regulatory issues, support governance, and collaborate with internal teams and external advisors in a dynamic energy transition. Hybrid work options available.

Qualifications

• 2 to 7 years PQE in law (private practice or in-house).
• Experience drafting and negotiating commercial agreements.
• Exposure to regulatory or compliance frameworks is a bonus.
• Experience with government contracts is well regarded.
• Strong communication, sharp attention to detail, and a team-first approach.

My client is an established Australian renewable energy business with a diverse project pipeline and plenty of momentum. With several projects progressing through key stages, they're growing their in-house legal team and looking for a Legal Counsel to join them on the journey.

What you'll bring

• Experience drafting and negotiating commercial agreements, ideally in energy, infrastructure or construction
• Exposure to regulatory or compliance frameworks is a bonus
• Experience with government contracts will be well regarded
• Strong communication skills, sharp attention to detail, and comfort owning your work
• A low-ego, team-first approach and a genuine interest in renewables
