Job summary

St Monica's College is seeking a qualified Learning Support Officer to join our Learning Diversity Faculty at our Epping/Reservoir campuses. The role focuses on in-class support for students with diverse learning needs, in collaboration with teachers to adapt materials and strategies.

Applicants will require Working with Children Checks and Police Checks, with duties including attendance at meetings, camps and school events, and maintaining student records in line with NCCD requirements.

Qualifications

• Qualified and experienced Learning Support Officer.
• Must be able to work with students with diverse learning needs.
• Ability to support in-class learning and collaborate with teachers.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team to support students with individual learning needs, primarily through in-class support.
• Collaborate with teachers to identify and accommodate individual needs of students with disabilities.
• Assist students with strategies to manage learning, such as note-taking and organizational skills.
• Maintain records of in-class support and adjustments.
