Job summary

St Aloysius Catholic Primary School, Chisholm seeks a permanent full-time Learning Support Coordinator (K-6/7-12) to foster inclusive, faith-centered learning. The role collaborates with staff, CSO and external providers to identify and support students with disabilities, implement Personalised Plans and ensure alignment with school curricula.

The successful candidate will lead a team, deliver professional learning, and coordinate assessment data to tailor educational adjustments across stages.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of Catholic education and mission.
• Experience supporting K–6/7–12 students with diverse disabilities.
• Ability to collaborate with school staff, CSO, and external partners.
• Experience delivering professional learning for staff and parents.
• Ability to lead teams and manage programs.
• Ability to use assessment data to tailor adjustments.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Learning Support faculty and coordinate staff.
• Identify students with special needs and liaise with parents and providers.
• Deliver interventions and differentiate curriculum.
• Design and monitor Personalised Plans and Learner Profiles.
• Ensure adjustments align with curriculum and disability obligations.
• Contribute to staff development and parent education.
• Coordinate documentation for enrolment and transitions.
